Terms & Conditions for Post Box Hire

 Welcome to ET Creations & Occasions and trading online as www.hireapostbox.co.uk ("we," "our," or "us").

By hiring our post box services, you ("the Hirer") agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before making a booking.

1. Agreement

By hiring a post box from us, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. This agreement is legally binding.

2. Booking and Payment

2.1. All bookings must be made through our website or in person.

2.2. Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure the hire.

2.3. Prices are subject to change, but the price agreed upon at the time of booking will be honored.

3. Hire Period

3.1. The hire period begins on the date specified in your booking confirmation and ends on the return date specified.

3.2. Extensions to the hire period must be requested at least 48 hours before the original end date and are subject to availability and additional charges.

4. Cancellations and Refunds

4.1. Cancellations must be made in writing via email or through our booking platform.

4.2. Cancellations made more than 72 hours before the hire period begins will receive a full refund.

4.3. Cancellations made less than 72 hours before the hire period begins are non-refundable.

5. Loss or Damage

5.1. The Hirer is responsible for the post box during the hire period.

5.2. Loss or damage to the post box will result in a charge of £100, which will be billed to the Hirer.

5.3. Loss of keys will incur a charge of £10 per set.

5.4. The Hirer must report any loss or damage immediately to us.

6. Liability

6.1. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or misuse of the post box.

6.2. Our total liability under any circumstances shall not exceed the total hire fee paid by the Hirer.

7. Termination

7.1. We reserve the right to terminate the hire agreement if the Hirer breaches any terms of this agreement.

7.2. In the event of termination due to breach, no refund will be issued.

8. Governing Law

8.1. These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom.

8.2. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom.

9. Amendments

9.1. We reserve the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to you prior to your booking.

Cancellation Policy

1. Notification of Cancellation: Cancellations must be communicated in writing via email or through our booking platform.
2. Refund Eligibility:  
   • Cancellations made more than 72 hours before the hire period starts are eligible for a full refund.
   • Cancellations made within 72 hours of the hire period start are non-refundable.

Refund Process

1. Refunds will be processed within 14 business days of receiving the cancellation request, provided they meet the refund eligibility criteria.
2. Refunds will be issued using the same payment method used for the original booking.

Loss & Damage

1. Key Loss: £10 per set of lost keys.
2. Post Box Loss or Damage: £100 charge for any loss or damage to the post box.
